Theoretical Research Analysis

After researching each of the theories in the prezi, it is clear that the film that we are producing isn't going to be similar to many of these theories, and this is because we are producing a non-fiction. The auteur theory has little relevance to our production because we will be following the career of a made up cricketer and therefore there would be no influence from the directors ideologies in the film. Also the narrative theory would not really link to our film, this is due to it being non-fiction. On the other hand the genre theory and the audience theory may have some relevance to our film. The genre theory would be used because we would use similar aspects of what is typical in the genre of sport. The audience theory would also have some use because it will be up to the audience how they interpret the information given from or about the cricketer, for example this could be his views or if they like his character.
